Aerospoke have a returns policy where if you purchase one of their wheels & want it changed at anytime you return it to them, pay $150.00 + postage & they give you a new one. No questions asked!
This is what I did but since I'm half way around the world from them they just asked me to physically cut a spoke off, photograph it as proof, along with the serial no. & they'd do an exchange.
Which is why I'm left with this...
Anyone who is thinking about buying this & doing the returns policy DON'T as they already have the serial no. for this wheel so it cannot be returned.
Personally i don't know if it's possible to mend it but it's certainly worth a try. The wheel itself is still true & still feels surprisingly strong! -

I think he meant photograph of the wheel sans spoke. Not the removed section.... Or if you're joking, i'm an idiot.
Have you tried riding on it icecream?
-
• #14
Arrospok will charge you $90 postage on top of that tho'... Or they were last year anyway...
-
• #15
powder coating was never going to work on a plastic / resin wheel... did you not know what ovens do to plastic. Just reading this makes me feel exhausted at how 'daft' someone was.

Even better! Tynan can photochop loads of 'em with spokes missing.
Cheap spoks for everyone.
You reckon it's safe to ride it?!

Mine was factory powdercoated by Aerospoke - its fine if you know how

Cant really offer you any dorra for it though.

£11 cash, cold hard cash.
Don't know if anyone could make use of this but it's available anyway....
Rear, 700c Powdercoated. The company who did it put it in at too high a temperature & bubbled the paint!
Spoke cut off to get a replacement sorted.
