I got the charge shit on my bars at the moment, because it was a freebie. but it's fucking coming off to be replaced by the mighty stella azzura eleganza soon

my brooks bartape is well grubby,any ideas on cleaning or washing it in machine ,will it disintergrate

i wouldn't wash it in the machine... get some leather cleaner from a shoe repair shop, that might help.

The man has a point. Bar tape's gonna get fucked up if you use your bike a lot. The brooks stuff is good quality but double the price of the second most expensive tape. It's gonna wear and take on a 'distressed' look - either cough up another £25 or learn to love it.

I made mine from leather from Alma Leather next to Bicycle Magic.

I can give tips if you need.
