I put a mavic cxp 700c in with 23c continental tyres. The short end of the drop out is 22mm long. The clearance when the wheel was at the back of the droputs was 17mm (first photo). The clearance when the wheel was at the front of the dropouts was 7mm (second photo). So you have 10mm of chain adjustment if you're going to ride fixed. Either way there's bags of room for mudguards if that's what you want, because I only ever used this bike with mudguards on myself.
