a woman with blonde hair pushing a blue(?) pug with a flat tyre at the lights by the tandem centre in colliers wood.
about 4pm.i was at the lights, you asked me if i had a pump.
not far from moose or AW cycles, both of which sell pumps.
but then you should have had a pump anyway, so did you give it to her? (cue platini's fnnaar)
I can't believe people still ride without protection

Embarrassed GF by leaning out of cab and trying to shout at Johnny heading East along Pall Mall (?) just by the ICA. You left West Beers early - it was only 10:40...
nice one J, to add to your embarrassment i didn't hear a thing. couldn't make it west last night. was at the ICA, doing the being at the ICA thing.

Saw a dapper lad (tweed suit and everything!) on a singlespeed (I think) Dawes conversion at the lights on the corner of Great Smith and Victoria Street this morning. Rolling in style!

Nearly everyday i catch a glimpse of this dashing fella on a goldish, ghetto style, creaking, old road bike conversion covered in stickers with charmingly mismatching tyres. Seems to always be double-taking, checking me out, and smiling back, just as I pass those really reflective windows down....Oh wait, hang on a sec...

Wools - Having seen the way you head to work I can only assume you are a civil servant. I have no idea why this is relevant.

i pointed her in the direction of sainsburys..... they have started selling aero wheels dontchaknow?
cycling without a pump keeps my life exciting. a flat in the middle of a mitcham estate is something i've yet to experience.... maybe one day soon tho...

If, by civil servant, you mean office bitch...then yes. But honestly...no. Although I do sometimes feel like a servant and, unfortunately, my duties require me to be civil to people. Which can be trying...

My pal Jimmy Millions rode two bikes at the same time once. Spent all Sunday after in the cafe with them drinking cheap booze, then did it again. He's from Southend, so what do you expect?

Yes! where's the pictures Fred?
It's all fine, but I think you need two bikes with the same gear inches, otherwise your feet get all out of time with each other like a bad mix.
