Owning another life is plain wrong. Celebrity or not it's still slavery of a species.
Your opinion it may be, but it's not exactly relevant to the thread is it?
-

It is my opinion and I do believe that it is relevent to this thread. If you enslave a life through ownership then surely it is your onus to ensure you at least keep it safe.
It's typical blame culture, so and sdo may happen so I better blame someone else. People need to take some fucking ownership.

On the whole I think 'owning' pets is problematic. However i do have a cat of my own. it was a birthday present years ago:
Please excuse the excessively limp wrist. It has a really good life here at my parents house and is fed regularly and well. Whilst we do in a sense 'own' it, the reality is that it owns us... they're selfish animals and we have to look out for it a lot. In return it's nice to have around. Whilst I agree that owning another life is plain wrong when it's put like that in those words, I think that it is case specific. Just my thoughts on my particular cat (Tilly) and something that I've thought about a lot.

I hit a dog once - was leaving a friends house - they lived on a hill & it was dark. I had lights on the bike & had picked up a fair bit of speed. Some stupid bint walked out from behind a parked car without looking & I shouted at her to look out & swerved to avoid her - right into the dog she was walking. It let out a massive yelp & I flew over the bars. As I lay in a bruised, grazed & crumpled heap the woman starts having a go at me about how I could have killed her dog (it wa fine) - wtf! Didn't even begin to ask if I was OK. Needless to say I went ballistic at her.

I have no problem with this hippy - that clip applies to every thread EVER. Like the fucking coffee appreciation thread for instance. Even ones about gear inches or sidi dominators.
superprecise: you're not a woman, you're a witch! You turned me into a newt.

Yeah thats her Scott, Gerry Anderson at his most confusing best! :)
Seem to remember it was all based around the Tic Tac Toe (or Noughts & Crosses) game.
Very odd.
