I'll know more later, and will be providing CCTV to the police. The BMW turned across his path, and it seems the biker grabbed a fistful of brake, and catapulted into the air, bike following.

Jeez, that's some scary shit, where the hell did the rider land ??

It seems as if he may have been was following and overtook on the right, then the Beemer turned, and his momentum carried the bike up with him and onto the roof. To be honest, he may also have come from the other direction, and gone up over the bonnet.
I do know that the rider fell off from the roof of the car, and had not one scratch on him.
I spoke to him, and he was in an absolute rage (a good sign; breathing well enough to be giving out the hairdryer treatment).

as I was cycling home tonight I stopped at the lights next to an ambulance. The passenger paramedic asked if I was cycling to blackheath.
I said no, why?
He replied that a cyclist had just been killed in an rta there.Dark times and RIP.

Are we becoming hypersensitive to accidents, or are there really more in London now?

Those bloody BMW's! I'm sure there must be some statistics on BMW drivers? Glad it ended okay though. The motorbike accident at lunchtime on Victoria Street yesterday looked far worse.
