I was chatting to our Fuji rep at work the other day and it basically is, just with slightly cheaper components and a lower price point. I'm never quite sure what to make of the pricier steel OTPs from the 'big boys' - I figure that anyone that's going to spend $1200 on a steel track bike knows enough to not buy an OTP, but to build one themselves.
It seems like they're pushing it at a really particular demographic of folks that want the 'look' of a classic track bike and aren't that clued up about things like parts and performance and so on.
Then again, I just work in a bike shop, not for a manufacturer, so what do I know?
