what time does the rumble at the jumble start? what train to catch to get there..?
-
• #757
there's a 7.32 train to hamstreet arrives at 9.08, which is 4 miles from the bike jumble which is due to 9am.
About fifty files miles back, could drop into rye and ride back along the coast national cycle path maybes?

hey new to the forum but know elvis. So he has conviced me to get myself a single speed so I pick up a giant Bowery from Pearsons on thursday, ok not the best bike in the world, but it is a start, and all I can afford what with paying for my uni course. I have just moved to Brighton and am studying a degree in Photography at Portsmouth but am only in once a week. Unfortunatly I could not find a job when I moved here so have ended up working at INKFISH (Yawn) dont judge me lol.
Anyway if u see me say hi I will be on the bowery with the mowhawk probably obliviously riding dangerously down the road as a bus slams into me.
oh and PS saw two guys riding fixies/ss today riding up the high street at around 4.45 one was a red bike and one black bike. was sooo tired today cant remember what the riders looked like but both male.

hi guerilla photo,
welcome to the forum!
to the guys going to the jumble, could you look out for a nice set of one-piece cranks (lewis knows why i need a one piece)? anything up to 48/49 tooth would be great. don't worry if not though.
see you soon!

lies, lies, lies! your insatiable appetite for fashion has inevitably driven you to a one gear lifestyle choice. next step is long rides my brother, be afraid, be very afraid.
i'm up for th jumble saturday (thought it was sunday, doh). need to be back mid to late afteroon so train up there and then hoon it back. top stuff.
kelvin, have got to go to that gig on friday with my dad but will try and hook up with you for a pint after.

right, nick (guerillaphotowhore) is now one of us. he has picked up his bowery and spent all day riding around town. we went out for a spin tonight and i'm well impressed. solid bike, nice black and chrome and parts that will get him up and down many a hill. a true bargain!
and he'll flip it to fix in no time!

really sorry about that lewis, once I woke up properly I realised you'd probably already left with the forks felt like a right c unit. Not that it'll be any consolation having carried an unnesc chunk of metal into the countryside but it was def an inch not and 1/8th I was after....
I think after messing you around I'll sort myself out just spunk some money on the credit card, i'm really sorry about, that owe you mucho faveroonies
on the plus side that's a really smart looking bike there, get yourself a good price?
-
• #769
