Was it locked up?
I left my Bridgestone with a complete stranger outside a pub at Borough Mkt today. That was the most terrifying 2 minutes I've ever had at the bar!
Thankfully my internal facial analysis software which detects honest people was functioning correctly today.
I really wanted a pint.

I was at work marlon....fighting crime! :)
Shame none of the other 200 people sitting there stepped up to help me...me against 4 london fields bike thieves trying to take two bikes was never gonna be a complete success...:(

yeah was locked up but just with a cable, as I was 10 metres away, but stupidly it was out of my line of sight. It's been nicked before, and I got it back off gumtree, but I'm thinking I may not be so lucky this time as my laziness got it nicked in all fairness...

Go to the private folder, roxy has called it brick lane market officers.... I bumped it so you should see it near the top. Cunts who steal bikes are cunts. Hope you get it back. I'm three bikes down, never seen any of them back.

Well it's been a good morning so far - got up early (for a sunday) and got myself down brick lane tooled up with a claw hammer and a bike tool which, when semi folded fits quite nicely in my fist. Halfway down cheshire st, down the alleyway, I spot 3 skinny runts wearing grey pyjamas riding bikes, one of which is unmistakeably my beloved blue Cannondale. Dear reader, I saw crimson, scarlet, magenta, and several other shades of red, and ran straight at him shouting get off my bike you cunt, or words to that effect.
Seeing the fury in my eyes, (and possibly the hammer in my hand), he shat his pants, jumped off and ran up the road with his equally intelligent looking bretheren.
He turned back when about 30 yards away and shouted 'Oi, what if I paid for it?' - I just retorted, 'don't care -it's my fucking bike'
Beautiful weather, gonna build a back wheel for my Dave Russell track bike now after a nice bottle of cava! (is it too early?)
Brussels trip is back on next weekend as well - YAY! -
• #24
never too early for cava... well done... you could have just sat on your hands this morning, glad the story ended with bike and owner back together!
