Swapped a Miche BB for a Campagnolo Centaur today.
Same splined tool (plus big adjustable spanner) to remove old and add new with addition of some plumber's PTFE tape to lock the cups in solid as suggested by Tynan. Tighten cups towards the back wheel, loosen towards the front wheel on most frames.
However before replacing BB check yo god-damn chainring bolts because they will definitely make you think you have a BB problem when you don't.
