My flatmate's sister had a very routine ligament problem with her knee (talkin' a long time ago), she never followed her doctor's advice to rest/physio treatment etc.... To cut a long story short, she's gonna lose the leg now... Just cuz she couldn't be arsed to listen to her consultant and take a month off work ten years ago... Not 100% related, but a cautionary tale nonetheless...
