interestingly the Govt are keen to allow motorcylists into the cycle lane as it reduces accidents... to motor cyclists.
Get the impression those that run the show aren't sure what to do with all the traffic on the road?
EDIT - ok its bus lanes but cycle lanes are even lower down the order
