those dropouts make removing the rear wheel easy when you run full mudguards, which is what the tempo is about innit?

Integrated derailleur hangers weren't that common until fairly recently.
My first Viscount didn't have one, but my second did.

Yeah, what's the problem?
I though the tempo was covered already, it's the sensible choice for the sensible man about town or a reasonable winter fixed training rig.
There's no pleasing some people, like there is'nt enough choice in this niche already.

who says a fixed/ss bike has to have track ends? think the clues in the name "track" ss road bike intended for touring / commuting, forward facing dropouts makes sense, it's not un-authentic or anyfink!

Absolutely. My fixie has exactly the same set up as my road bike. My fixie is the most beautiful fixie that I have seen.
Sure this might have been discussed before some place, but I can't see it.
Just occurred to me last night, in there round up of single speed bikes and fixed they have the condor tempo instead of the pista! what the f&ck, the only one in the whole 'test' that does not have track ends! Its is just old school forward facing drop-outs with the hanger missing, worst of both worlds?
