Wanted: Use of a Bench Vice

I don't mean shagging k-holed, latex-clad midgets on a bench, as a vice, per se. No, what I mean is, one of my fscking Powertap hub covers won't come off with the pathetic plastic wrench thing. I need a bench vice to attack it with.

Anyone have one?

I've got something that I use for bench vice duties, strong grip nice and secure. It's strong enough to use as a small anvil to bend bits of metal over, holds freewheel toold tight e.t.c

What exactly do you need to do? What about a couple of pairs of pipe grips?

I have a vice that you can clamp to a table if thats any good

but you need the right table for it,too..

there is that, sadly I can't get my coffee table in my bag..

if it's a bike related thing, there is a little bike shop off the greenford ave, near where i used to live. an old boy runs it, quite friendly, pop in and see him he has a bigfuckoff one on a similar sized bench.

hippy, if you can get to The Mall at any time with the bits, I can probably get you into the ICA's workshop (there's a bench mounted vice).
