Ohhhh yes it is. But, in Holland bikes are not a 'culture' like a subculture or whatever, and certainly not 'cool', they're just absolutely normal for the very young to the very old, and not stigmatised as 'nutty' to be used as transport.
I mean, where else in the world do bikes going round the outside of a roundabout have priority over bigger vehicles trying to exit the roundabout? And where else in the world would you see aero bars on an upright chainguarded 4 speed hub safety bike?
