atm i am listening to jimi hendrix and moby.

I devour music like there is no tomorrow, I have thousands of records and I still dont know three quarters of whats out there! That's the fun of it. Always something new to get excited about.

  • Top tunes I is feeling at ze moment. Feel free to post yours

    1. All Things to All Men, Cinematic Orchestra feat. Roots Manuva
Listen to at night in urban environment, pref. near water. Rinse and repeat
YouTube - The Cinematic Orchestra - All Things to All Men

    2. Rock the Whole Planet, Fingathing
Could have been a host of tunes by them. More grimey than a non-merino base layer after a seven hour bike ride
    3. Chocolate Box, Coldcut
Makes me think of a certain bird and makes my trousers happy
    4. Punks, Freestylers
'Punks in the back, Hoods on the right, Hoods on the left, wild for night' breakbeat footstomper
    5. Horny
Bootleg of the seminal 'Foghorn' by Egyptian Empire in a breakbeat stylee (notice the theme). Pure hands in the air mayhem

'I said it one time, one time, one time for the foghorn' (cue loads of jumpin about0

Great new video, not on you tube yet though.

The Vivian Girls are fucking Awesome! They opened up for Sonic Youth in Brooklyn while I was in NYC. By the way, In The Red is an amazing label and puts out an amazing array of quality Rock & Roll. Jay Retard, The Ponys, The Demons Claws etc etc. Check it out!

  • My band may be playing with the Vivian Girls when they come over later this year, so watch out!

ITR is indeed a good label; if you dig that kind of stuff, check out my mail order-

  • High contrast essential selection mix.

  • New TV on the Radio album.

And whoever was looking forward to the new Kings Of Leon album, listened to it twice through this PM and will not be doing so again - gash (IMHO).

  • I don't really do metal anymore, but the new Metallica album is on it. anyone else been giving it a listen? aside from that i've been back into Fugazi recently. I also keep waking up with 2+2=5 in my head - great song, but is starting to get a bit worrying.

  • 'Waiting Room' FTW

HOLY SHIT GUY_ HO! Checked out your site! That is right straight up my alley! I havent been able to find a good source for good punk rock ie: Carbonas, Black & Whites, etc. I usually order all my vinyl from Soundflat in germany (They are awesome by the way.) and get tons of stuff when I go home to visit NYC. Thank god there is someone else who listens to this kind of music. I was starting feel like I was all alone in this. Whew! Would love to buy ya pint at the next drink you attend!

  • lone wolf
    blackmass plastics
    nas
    jawbox
    charles bronson
    big business

  • YouTube - Death - Pull the plug

That's the real deal right there, none of your Norwegian Church Burners carry-on, death metal played by the man who invented it, such a shame he had to go...apparently a lovely man too from what I've heard

  • Andrew Jackson Jihad
    Fake Blood
    The Mae Shi
    Ghost Mice
    allsogood.

  • The Cramps ' Tear it Up' on you tube. just love that live version.

  • Does anyone actually read what other people put on here or do they just put what they're listening to and then bugger off??
