i did mine with a hacksaw, a dremel and then by hand with sanpaper to smooth. shouldnt be hard to cut off. be careful not to dig into the tubing if your using a hacksaw.

you could leave them on, that way when the old geared bike revival comes round in about 5 minutes, you'll be well-placed to convert the 'fixie' you found on ebay.
who knows, one day you might ride further than five miles and find that braze-ons are quite useful.
can anyone tell me how to grind off those braze-ons ? i have an angle grinder but am worried about grinding into the frame ! help !!!
