Colnago - Master Olympic - what price to offer

  • I keep seeing this Colnago in the bike shed at work and really want to buy it off the guy, but have no idea how much it may be worth.

Can any of you give me a guide to the current going rate for such a bike? It is not mint, there are plenty of scratches on it.

  • it's got some crazy arse (no pun intended) seatpost/saddle arrangement ????

  • bikes too small for him.

    ti stem??

offer as much as you can afford.

  • I sold a Colnago frame in better condition than that for £315 a few months ago. I'd offer him £400 and see what he says.

  • Bikes too small, hence the saddle being way back - use that as a bargaining tool when trying to buy it off him.

    Cheers Andy

  • A guy i met the other day bought something similar but in pristine condition with straight blade forks for £550 (i think) complete. It was Shimano (9) Ultegra equipped. Lovely looking bike.

I think the stem is the cro-mo version. Looks like me old one.
