Designers from the Scandinavian firm Aurumania have created a limited series of 10 bikes made out of solid gold.
Are you sure it is solid gold and not gold plated ?
Gold would be a terrible material for a bicycle, very very heavy and very very soft for a metal.

please let them be solid gold, please let them be solid gold....

thats what I was gonna say.
Also complete lack of 'design' for a design group.
Just looks like your average conversion/crap old track bike. The usual basic parts.
The beauty of track bikes lies in their cut down simplicity, its form follows function. They look 'good' if they look lean & fast.
that looks like a werthers original.

Just looked at their website, they are less designers and more just people who get existent product and cover it in gold and jewels, you know shit like an gold plated iphone or a gold pen with real diamonds glued onto it.
Bastards.

no, I'm not sure, gotta buy one and cut the tube to find out
The first bike in the series has already been sold to a customer in London – a man who wants it to decorate one of the walls in his home. AURUMANIA therefore also designed a special mount for this bike – also made of 24-carat gold, of course. The bike will then be on display, as a work of art in itself.

I use caviar to grease the bottom bracket, which itself is made from mother of pearl.

Personally, I find that reading the forum is much more effective than Search. That said, I probably have more time on my hands than the average young hipster...

The best stuff for it.
Designers from the Scandinavian firm Aurumania have created a limited series of 10 bikes made out of solid gold.
Each piece of every bike was created by hand and the whole thing decorated with 600 Swarovsky crystals.
The bikes all come with a leather seats and horns and they each cost around 80,000 dollars.
