Michelin Dynamics are good and cheap, get them from Parkers for about £8 each.

I use paselas 23 and 28 on different bikes, they're quite hardwearing, grippy and OK for p*******s. I've heard the older-type ones are a bit small, i.e. the old 28s are more like a 25... sjs seem to have both in some sizes. I never skid, so I wouldn't know about that sor. Not cheap mind. Also I think gum looks all grey and mucky as soon as you get brake-compound dribbling all over them in the wet. I guess you just have to clean them. erk. Only a problem if you use a brake or brakes.

Michelin Dynamics are only available in black/black from parkers
Dedas look nice but probably more than I want to spend, I'll look into them a bit further.
Paselas sound promising then.
no one used the Vredsteins then?

I have a pair of NOS michelin Hi-Lite 23c and 1 19c, folding lightweight skinwall tyres.
I think they were high-end early 90's jobs. look a lot like veloflex, will sell em as Iv decided to only roll on 25c+ from now on.
Anyone used either of the above? or reccommend something similar, 700X23 or 25 with a retro gumwall look about it.
