West end is great. they seem to believe if one person crosses and they all walk tight to them looking down they will not get seen...
I took the squeeze out shopping last weekend and proved the theory. you have to try it! get one or two of you right at the front of the pack on the pavements edge (a few people apart so its not obvious you know each other) and whilst shoulder tight with those around you start walking with confidence... they all follow! it's fucking great!
Camden by the Worlds end is dicey and i have had a lot of people pushing kids in the road Notting hill area. but it's only if you hit it near the school run.
