Christ, tell me about it! Got a train from Paris to Calais at 5.30 to get a ferry for 8.10pm. Got to the ferry port where there were millions of people. Ferry delayed, got on the ferry at 9.45, left at 10.15pm. Arrived at Dover 11pm UK time - last train to London was 11pm, missed it!
Got a little consortium together and got a minibus bqck to London, 8 of us for £200, got back to my gaff at 1.30am, wank!! :-(
BUT.......I had to get back to finish the bike as I won't be back for another 2 weeks - I only had the seatpost bolt to get and that was it but that was the hardest bit to find - had 4 kicking around and none fitted, tried De Veer Cycles, Brixton Cycles, Edwares, no luck. Managed to get one in Herne Hill Cycles of all places! :-)
