I've got a mid 80s Raleigh road bike that needs a new home. It's nothing special, Reynolds 501 frame, 105 cranks and derailleurs from memory. Assuming it's going to someone who's going to make good use of it (ie. not sticking it on ebay to make a quick £50) I'm not too bothered about the money. Pay whatever you think's fair.
I doubt it's any better than the other frame, but if you're interested let me know and I'll put up a few photos/details this evening. -

Bartlett, if you could post some photos that'd be great. And don't worry, I'm after a bike I can ride!
Does it have horizontal dropouts? -

Ok, some more details and photos...
58cm frame - Reynolds 501
700c wheels - Weinmann rims - Maillard hubs
Shimano 105 cranks and dérailleurs
Weinmann brakes and levers
The brake mountings are the recessed allen type which should make it easy to add newer brakes. The frame's in decent condition, I haven't noticed any dents or cracks. There are a few chips and scratches, as you'd expect, and a few small areas of rust mainly on the top tube. I've shown the worst areas in the photos.
There's a bit of movement in the cranks so the bottom bracket might need replacing.
One of the pedals is damaged and they're designed for use with clips.
The saddle is falling apart.
The wheels aren't too bad but probably need truing at the least.
The whole bike's pretty filthy, I rode it over last winter and never quite got around to cleaning it.I've also put up a couple more photos and larger versions of the above.
You're welcome to take just the frame or the whole lot.

.
Hi
I'm currently tempted by a Ken Ryall frame, but would like to know if any of you have something better to offer, nothing too expensive though.... This will be my first build. Ideally a lugged frame, maybe reynolds, with horizontal/semi-horizontal dropouts.
Thanks!!!
