Off centre fail - would have been much better if they were dead in the middle.

preferably a black and white mid-race shotOn vintage photos ... at the Kings of Pain exhibition a few years ago, there was a blown up photo on one of the side walls, which I have been trying to find a scan of ever since. My memory is of a lone rider on an unsealed road, followed by an old Citroen (I think) van/support vehicle. I do not recall any crowds - so it may have been cropped. I thought it may have been Coppi somewhere in the Dolomites, but I think it may have been the Col du Galibier (perhaps Coppi or Anquetil??). I think the rider was travelling left to right when facing the picture.
Does anyone by chance remember this picture?
I've been searching various books (e.g., http://www.velopress.com/cycling_history.php?id=229) and the internets ( ) ever since, but have yet to find what my memory pictures. (Whilst typing this ... I suppose I could e-mail Rapha and ask them). -

It's actually Meadowbank Velodrome in Edinburgh. It's been getting a lot of publicity recently as it's scheduled for demolition. See http://www.savemeadowbank.org/ for further info.
Can't claim the credit for the photo though - although I wish I could...

Got sent this from a 'friend'; had to edit it for a family audience but what a tattoo. it says "every car a murder, every bike a love affair".
