OK, I've bought this old loaf off Ebay and I want to convert it into my own lunch. Should I strip the crust off or go for that retro look.

Also, does anyone know what size ham it takes, I think the loaf is a baguette or something else french breaded.

its become quite popular in the trendier parts of town to let your loaf gain a bit of mould...and then clear coat over the top.
personally i think it looks great but it might clash with the ham.

One Campange loaf, block of butter, jar of peanut butter, pack of custard creams, block of strawberry jelly, pint of milk, packet of crisps, snack bar and a banana. Julian Mckeith can come and look at my diet any day.

I expect to have some butter and peanut butter left over at the end of the day to take home.

it's great isn't it. it actually tasted like they just sent the bell boy round to maccy D's , and chucked it all on a fancy tray with a flower, and did a Jackson Pollock with the ketchup and mustard.
