London, thousands of years of history stacked up from the river outwards. Millions of stories to be read on the corners of the streets, gently teased out of the fabric of the landscape. Adventures, innovation, industry, excitement, joy, tragedy, romance, fantasy, amazement and wonder can be found at any turn. Best of all though, it's as easy to leave your own mark as it is to leave none at all. Sure London can exact a high price as you pass through, but the payoff can be beyond belief.
