it wasn't just him, i've noticed a lot of people do it, rather than send the item back, and it confuses me, and makes me feel sad.

If nobody does want the bag then i'll send it back. With all the hassle of wrapping it and finding a post office and queueing and paying to send it, i would rather just loose a couple of £'s.
