what i like about london is the slightly lost wide eyed look that people from the rest of the country have when they visit, they are easy to spot as they are usually wearing clothes that are 5 years out of date. they like to slag london off for it's noise, filth and indifference but deep down they are slightly in awe. i guess you could say that about new york paris and tokyo too but not about any other british city.

i liked it when all the slavs first came over. suddenly the tube was awash with stonewash denim and what looked like global hypercolour t-shirts.

nowadays some of my best friends are of slavic descent.
