  • What is it about our capital that makes it great for you?

  • cheap

  • Not this!

  • The lack of Americans.

  • Our diversity

  • Its history mostly. Its a bit crap now though. I need some sunshine :(

  • The lack of Americans.

    Mmm... I married one!

  • the lack of americans.

    • 1 ; )
  • Not this!

I read that as 'We Are Loners'. I think that's probably more accurate!

  • hahahaha, i like the " or look a bit foreign" bit.

  • the good food/wine/coffee

  • no hills

  • Racist thread alert

  • I like the people..

  • I take it you don't live in North London then?

    no hills

  • this forum?

  • Not to lower the tone or anything, but i'm going with a serious anwser here. I have tried to find why it is that I tried so hard to stay in london, what does it have, that the only place that comes close in NYC?

The people are a huge selling point, and i mean every one, from the dirty west end Essex girls who keep slurring "I like Americans" and giving you "fuck me in the ally over there, come on, you wont be the frist or the last, tonight", to all the messengers, and fakengers that convinced me to go to that club, and then go to that ally, then took me to the VD clinic.

  • Even I found that first paragraph hard to read.

  • I like the people..

I take it you don't live in north London then? ;)

  • The fact that it's Earth's Capital City. You can do anything you want here, we are spoilt for choice. The best music, fashion, food. Although it's not he best city to live in if you are mentally or financialy poor, no city is.

    Via London.

  • Even I found that first paragraph hard to read.

Just pretend you're mental in the head and all suddenly becomes clear...
I really don't like London anymore, I can suffer Brixton, just... If it wasn't for the good people of this forum I'd be an even grumpier old fart than I am already, you guys make it bearable... Maybe I've been here too long, done it and seen it kinda crap... Samuel Johnson was talking out of his sphincter... IMHO...

  • sometimes it gets on my wick, but then I experience other parts of Britain and thank fuck I live here, where there is some culture, decent beer, food and cycling oportunities on my doorstep, you don't need a car, no-one knows (or wants to know) your business and the regional TV and radio ain't complete fuckin' Luther.

and by luther, I mean the Van fuckin DROSS
