What a shame. I'm not sure where the blame lies. Delays in lights? The lady rushing across?
It doesn't sound like it was the drivers fault.
Like Dogs says, there's quite a bit of room.
How did the driver not see her?
Whatever the situation. It's a good reminder of dangerous roads, jumping lights, etc.
