Hello. This is a special live music event to celebrate the first screening of the completed 90 minute long documentary feature, by Winstan Whitter, of 'LEGACY IN THE DUST'. If you're into roots, ska, dub and all that scene, feast on this account of the legendary club which ran for 33 years in Dalston. The venue later hosted the legendary ravers' club 'Labyrinth' on Friday and Saturday nights for a long time in the early nineties. Many hardcore, Junglist and DnB DJs and artists' careers were launched there - The Prodigy's first live appearance was at Labyrinth.
Interviewees include: Keith, Maxim and Liam from Prodigy, Slipmatt , Billy Bunter, Dennis Bovell, Lloydie 'Sir' Coxsone, Fatman, Bunny Lee, Ari Up from The Slits and loads more connected to the long and varied history of The Four Aces.
The film is a living document of the now-demolished club and entertaining to boot, with a nice soundtrack.
