    Black, Jamaican Guy: "Hey that's a lovely bowler hat and umbrella you have there."
    White, Londoner: "Thanks, they are terribly pretty aren't they. One feels quite complete. Not for you though, you're black and from Jamaica and this bowler hat and umbrella is reserved only for white men from London town."

    See? It's ridiculous.

    To imply that something, anything, shouldn't be appreciated by or used, or in the case of this bike loved and ridden, on the basis of skin colour and nationality is racist. And that's what you did, you said, "Yeah, but you're white and not from Jamaica..." implying that only if you're black and from Jamaica could you appreciate, or own, a bike frame that sported colours which resemble those related to Rastafarian's.

    Errr, calm down, you've gone a bit too OTT and read into it far too much. As always it seems that some people need any little excuse to start calling people racists nowadays and it tends to be the white middle classes that get off their high horse about it in some kind of overly PC way - just to be seen to be doing the right thing!
