Rapha - the Prada of cycling clothing - over priced for what it is but cut and styled to make it feel worthwhile

probably merits a new post, but the programme guide on the BFF looks ace. Lots of events to be getting excited about in October!
Erm... where is it? I have googled, but I can only find the 2008 one.

Wonderful, made me chuckle.

Oh shit. Brain fail.
(Am still laughing at myself. How did that happen?(

That Dissertation is frying your brain girl!
-
• #908
Maybe it's just wishful thinking. After all, in 2009 I will have finished the dissertation.

I do like the look of that! Jaqui i'd be happy to help with the film festival, what sort of help do you need? Can anyone tell me more about the festival

Thank you to everyone who offered to volunteer for the festival. I'll be starting a thead closer to the date for the volunteer positions.

Er, I own a Prada cycling jacket. Zips under the arm pits. Reflective bib clipped inside you can remover and wear outside. Should have gone in the confessional thread.

I don't wanna piss on Jacqui's fire, looks like she is involved so I'll let her post when the time is right...

i bought one of these caps last week. it's sweet, it fits well, and it doesn't suffer from that age old cycling cap problem, looking too small on your head.
so rapha, yah de yah, rant rant - and how was the smithfield nocturne, chaps? and wait a minute - who is that paying the wages of over 15 of our young british cyclists, including current KOM in the Tour of Britain, Kristian House? oh, it's rapha.
it's assos i hate. fucking dentists' garb.

yah de yah, rant rant ..... smithfield nocturne..... british cyclists...... KOM .....Tour of Britain...
Yes, PJ, but It's quite apparent, from looking at recent forum activity, that this "cycling" thing of which you speak is of little interest to the current crop of users....

- The cap is £15. £5 of that goes directly to the BFF --- which by the way is totally volunteer run.. BFF uses the money to make the event better.
its got embroyery and the logo is velvety.
I think its a lot nicer than the "ride specific" caps they've done in the past (and no, i didn't have anything to do with it)FYI dale - a number of the filmfestival volunteers are from Rapha, Cycle Surgery, Creative and some even from this forum.. including yours truly. As VB said.. it is for EVERYONE.
(incidentally, I will be recruiting at least two volunteers for each party.)
Give me a heads-up for any parties and key events and I'll try muster some press for y'all.
(Only if you want it. We're hardly national, but I know the forum's anti-journo sentiment…)

Didn't know anything about BFF, will make sure I go. Bought the cap, looks great.

I really like the design on that cap, would like it on a t-shirt too.

The only reason I didn't rep you is for your antiAssosness (what a cool word).
Assos rocks. Rapha gets loads of free press from people like me saying things like "overpriced toss". This cap is about the only thing I like.. pity I don't wear caps. -
