Yea just got a pair, they're pretty well built, look pretty great, got them in that color aswell.
Superfast delivery, 4 days and they were here. -
• #3
Considered buying from them but the delivery is more than the wheels.. something to think about..
-

OK. Great. Sort of.
Rosmal, much did Customs sting you for and what was the final outlay? Much appreciated guys.
-
• #5
P&P was about $60, which isn't great but thats what you'd expect from imports. Altogether (im not sure you'll have to use a converter)it was about £110

I'm looking at buying from these guys too but i'm not sure what you mean about customs.
so the wheels = 90 ish
p&p = 37 at presenttotal = about 125
...but is the customs charge added on to this when buying from america and is it hit and miss wether they catch you/chose your parcel to charge?
-
• #11
ie 125 inc customs
or 125 + customs if unlucky?

Seems to be your Donald Duck. Fingers crossed they've got bigger fish to fry. Makes it all quite exciting mind you, in a bad way!
-
• #13
yeah, just a cross your toes affair, especially as some couriesr pay it for you, then leave it a week to tell you.
a note on the rims themselves, good for the price but you might end up wishing your got some 2nd hand velocities...just a thought. -
• #14
Well that's them ordered. I did think to get Velocity but they only do them in the flip-flop as opposed to double option which is - as we Scots say -'nae' use.
Thank you for the counsel my Jedi knights.

i bought some wheels from the seller in the orginal post, them wheels & sprocket chaps. the wheels never made it though, the tracking said they ended up in germany. i was shipping to my work address, in cov. garden. i told them and they checked into it, refunded the money and simply asked that i pay again if the wheels turned up. they still haven't shown up, prolly gone back to the u.s. but heck, nice people.

Ouch, £28.80, what was the total?
I think ill count myself very lucky now but ill be wary about buying from overseas. -
• #18
Got some last week. I had to pay VAT which was about 17 squids, and then bloody parcelforce charged 13 quid handling fee on top of that. If you can get them to pay VAT in advance, that would be better. Good wheels though.

I got some from a different bunch of guys, well built!! postage is loads but I didn't get stung by customs so you might be lucky!!

Have been trying to get Halo Aerorages off Chain Reacation but it's been like the slow boat to China. Not ideal but I've already waited 5 weeks only tobe told another 5 looks likely. Now back up in Glasgow so can't jump along to Brixton Bikes like I'd like to.
Cheers.
