wow! on blocks.. i ran through holland park this morning, too. what time was this??

got on site about 8 ish. the owner had 2 new wheels fitted by ten thirty,he reckond 1200 per rim and 300 per tyre, lucky 4 him they could only get off roadside as pavement has high kerbs so could not get them out!

I saw a similar sight a while ago on Camberwell grove outside one of those spectacular houses.. I couldn't help but giggle

as much as i hate cars it's still a plus one

but that's a Bentley! if you earn that much? its like robin hood, stealing from the rich and providing amusment for the poor.

Also I will admit that I would be pissed off if that was my car, but i'm sure he'll eventually see the funny side and I'm sure he won't begrudge that next insurance payment as much.

Point taken, plus points for amusement value, negative points for service to society. Not knowing the guy (who could be lovely) I have sympathy for him, but like I said, he must see the funny side eventually, a Bentley? in broad daylight?

I thought about trying to find a Bentley forum and posting that.. then I realised that the people who own Bentleys don't know how to use computers and have people type shit for them..

i was on the fence about showing my sympathy but then i thought...if someone spends 1500 on each corner of their car then fuck them...they deserve to be nicked.

It ain't about right and wrong, it's about schadenfreude.

The motivations behind buying a £600 wheel set are completely different to those behind buying a Bentley*. Therefore the significance of having them nicked is different.

*the possible exception being some of the London Dynamo types

i'm not saying my opinion is rational...i know its not.i'm saying i have no sympathy for someone with that amount of money...theres millions of people all over the world struggling to find their next meal; its disgsting...fuck him and fuck his 1300 quid wheels.
