I've got the opposite problem. I've got a stan pike road frame and fork that im gonna convert for my first fixed. Thing is there are quite a few chips in the paint that have rusted a bit but nothing too bad. I don't want to get it resparayed though as I want to keep the original decals and I can't find the same ones.
Shall I clean it up as best I can and then clear coat over it or shall i try and touch up the paint over the rust spots as well (or would that look shit/obvious)? Also could I spray it with a clear coat myself or shall i get someone else to do it?
