These are for BMX. Not sure if they will work for fixed. They also give you the problem that when you want to take the chain off you cant move the wheel in to make the chane slack. Plus the problem of how long the chain is and how many links you need.
Of course you can. Undo the nut and pop them out of the dropout, wheel moves forward into the dropout, chain becomes slack. Job done.
My only concern would be chain stretch (even pre-stretched chains stretch somewhat) and needing to adjust the washers as the chain stretched out.
