Watching the Republican Convention is just about the most depressing thing you can do, Palins speech was great, and as a person i warmed to her, which woried me because she comes across very well, but what she stands for and the rest of those creationist fools and end dayers is just a giant step backwards for humanity. and i cannot stand the though that they might win.
The thing is she is a master stroke by the McCain campaign because middle america will vote for her purely because of the image they have carefully created for her, and unfotunately alot of them are seeing Obama portrayed as a black muslim by grass roots Republican campaigns in the mid west.
As long as tere isnt a major gaff by her or McCain, they could well pull this off.
