My very good friend Pete and his girlfriend Jo are due to go on a 2 week touring holiday around Scotland, setting off next week. The only problem is that the bike that Jo was supposed to be using has turned out to be far too big, with non-existent brakes and a pretty knackered drive train :-(
As a last ditch attempt, I offered to ask on here if anyone would be willing to lend her a bike for the trip. She is 5'2¨ and knows how to handle a bike, as long is it's not too big for her!
Failing that, does anyone have info on a good place to hire touring bikes? They have had a bit of a search on the net but only seem to be able to find heavy hybrids here in London or full on MTBs in Scotland.
Any help gratefully appreciated and I'm sure a few beers are on offer from Pete / Jo!
