How do I illegally download stuff?

‘seems like an embarrassing questions to ask these days, but I’ve never actually downloaded anything, illegally or legally. I’m after animation software I used at uni called Director 7. Somebody said “download it”; “alright” I said “I’ll download it”.

How the bloody hell do I do that?

Obviously I don’t want to go downloading anything that will f*ck up my computer. Plus, if it’s a massive mission to do, I probably can’t be ar$ed.

Torrents are the best way to download large files.
Get a torrent clients (bitComet for example) and install then get the torrent for the item you want from a torrent site (mininova is pretty good or pirate bay) and download.

Yea unblock that stuff, and it may take some time to download, but before you install anything run a virus scan on the file.

If you're asking about ease of virus scanning, I'd suggest you stay away from torrent sites.

Yea, you should be able to right click the file you had downloaded and run a scan.

I'm sorry i seem to have confused you.
Let me start again.

1. Download the torrent.
   
2. Open the torrent with bitComet
   
3. start the download, may take some time depending on uploader
   
4. When download is finished, before installing run a virus scan on downloaded file/s.
   
5. If clean install, if not download new one.
   
   

Also i suggest you look for a cracked version, where all instructions on how to install the program are in a file called Read-me or leeme.

FInd a torrent which has a lot of 'seeds', it means it'll download quicker.

A clarification:
If you have to ask such a stupid question here on a bike forum(easily covered by 180 million other websites), and display(as quoted above) such an ignorance of your own computer(on which I assume YOU installed "BitComet" {which is shit btw}).
Then I believe for your own good you should step away from the computer until either you can be supervised in its use or until they do some remedial basic computing lessons at your school.

Just as a precaution I wouldn't attempt any mechanical work on your bicycle either, to be on the safe side.
