he's now collapsed unconscious, after polishing off the last of the turpentine/milk mix that he turns to when things at school get difficult (ie; every day)
It's probable that he'll wake up, sobbing, at 3am with a migrane and discover that he's soiled his sheets, with faeces and urine.
