If the frame is steel, i would recommend squeezing a 120mm hub in there, as they are more common than 110mm spaced hubs, and more versatile as they fit in any track frame (track frames have 120mm spacing)
All front spacings are 100mm so you don't need a pair of hubs, you can use any old wheel.
Ok, So im converting an old road bike into a fixie for commuting to work so im not asking for anything special. However the rear frame spacing is 110mm so i have 3 options.
1) I am either looking for an old Track wheel set with 110mm hubs
2)A pair of 110mm Track hubs
or
3)A pair of 700c rims as i have found a track hub set which will work on SJSCycles.
This project is on a budget, hense i am still considering all the options.
Any advice would be much appreciated, i am new to the world of the fixed wheel.
Thanks...
