There's loads of goldfingers on ebay for something like £12-3. That's not so much?

yeah, i know, i just wanted to get back on my bike asap.
I'm managed to borrow one from a friend so will be back on my bike tomorrow.
I haven't ridden it since July! Actually, I have never ridden it at all because it's new, but what I meant was I haven'r ridden a bike since July. -

Yay for healing! This is only my opinion but I think a Dia Compe Tech 4 lever would look much nicer on your slender Japanese frame than one with a clunky clamp.... but then I'm rather biased. Alansbmx.com has them here: http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?cPath=116_102&products_id=1562, they're so pretty.
Did you get a clamp-on brake in the end?

hi Vic!
I did get a clamp on brake for the Vivalo but I never used it in the end. It took so long to turn up that I got used to riding brakeless.
Now I'm riding a Charge Plug so the brake is for that one. I went out on it this morning for the first time but my wrist is still so weak that it felt really dodgy without a brake for peace of mind. So I had to get the bloody tube again...
Still, I'll be back riding tomorrow. Yippee! -

Ah I forgot about your Plug - you have tons of bikes now! Ha! Well I'm sure a dirt harry will suit the Plug much better of course (er, not that Plugs are clunky but you know what I mean...). Looking forward to seeing you and your Vivalo sometime. Ride safe :D
After a summer with a broken wrist, I've just found out that I'm allowed back on the bike. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really can't fall on it though as it's not very strong yet and I don't want to take any chances. So I'm gonna put a brake on my bike but I don't have a lever.
Anyone got one that they'd like to lend me/sell me?
