If you can't get a freebee then try 1van1.com , I recently had to hire a van for a week or so and these guys were the cheapest I could find, they price match too if you find it cheaper. It cost me £204 for ten days hire of a Vauxhall Combo. They were around £100 cheaper than most other hirers.
