I have found them for £36 plus P&P from America on ebay. I've emailed the seller to see if they will post to the UK.

I have found Merlin Cycles have the one I want for £60, but I would think it should be cheaper elsewhere.

Dunno if you are still looking but chain reaction have some really good deals on the Thompson stems at the mo, well worth checking out!

Any advice on ordering things from the states.

There are a few bits that seem to be well priced at Aspire Velotech, should I place three separate orders to try and avoid the import duty lottery, and hope that if one thing gets taxed the others wont?

aspire dont charge for the postage, total cycling are slightly cheaper for some of the parts, will have to look into the total costs for both...
