one inch stems for ahead, are known as mini stems, all the little race bikes use a 1 inch steerer still, but ahead , hense it is so hard to get an internal headset for a one inch steerer
anyway, the reach isn't there as they never have that much on them, the profile one, not the hip, but the one before that had the most, but its $$$$$
if you dont wanna pay 30 quid, you can always ask on here

I'm after an old S&M Redneck Stem, 1 inch any colour, I just need it! If anyone comes across one let me know! Thanks!

thanks bmx dude for the heads up, I thought I only had the option of the very brief period of the transition to ahead when a few 1' clamp-on bmx stems were made. Had no idea they used 1" clamp ons, on junior bikes.
Probably not gonna fork out the £30, but ive got a whole new avenue to hunt !
FatSleaze, I had a NOS red shafted Redneck 1", but I sold it together with a mint yellow Dirtbike, also with mint pitchforks for not very much money at all.
Regret it now, that bike rode great!

You did what!!! Oh man! A yellow dirtbike! Must have looked wicked. I'm building up my 95 Chrome Dirtbike now, Slams, Profile etc - just need that stem to finish it off! Can I ask how much you sold it for? Do you know what the going rate is?
Cheers

remember the bar diameter will be 22.2 so you wont be able to fit your regular riser in there.
deity do a stem (MTB though) which has a 25.4 bar diameter though but you'll need a shim for the steerer.

I think the only 22.2 bars that exist are BMX ones.
Why not use a BMX seatpost instead? You can get nice colourful fluted oldschool BMX ones for about £10 on ebay etc, would look radder than a pair of flouro wayfarers!

and i have a pair of 22.2 mtb bars already but they are too high rise), just seeing if i can buy some second hand but nevermind, chainreaction it is i think

DFP, You're a moron. If you don't know something for definite please stop trying to give advice about it too other people.
Most mountain bike dirt jump companies have at least one 22.2 diameter jump bar.http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Categories.aspx?CategoryID=202

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=19489your right, i actually own two pairs! one on my bike, one spare. Im getting a lot of basic stuff mixed up lateley, will try to cut down on the enthusiastic helping.
My spare bars, are some dmr wingbars. Prob a tad heavy in comparision to an elementary stem (ok when cut down?), but ive seen people using them on fixed bikes. make an offer if interested.
