Cheers nimhbus but I think I'm just going to get it done here, borrow the cash from the parentals and work out some way of paying them back. I'll try and get something in writing from the current dental lady (who is VERY lovely so takes the sting out of it a teeny bit) saying that this work is a result of what he did and try and contact some big wigs in NI.
It's not the end of the world, just really annoying when it wasn't my fault. If it was from years of not brushing my teeth I'd have noone to blame but myself but this guy said that when my wisdom teeth were coming through they were putting pressure on the rest of my teeth causing the pain so he drilled and filled most of them saying that it would relieve the pressure. Being 13 and not a dentist, I trusted him, my parents trusted him. He also botched an innecessary root filling (something in the links he was said to be known for) and it went bad causing an abcess that erupted when I was at uni in Belfast, the work I mentioned I had 3 or 4 years ago was the result of this.
I now need 2 crowns, a root filling, 3 or 4 fillings replaced and 2 small fillings in my wisdom teeth.
