Sticky thread for off-the peg single speed/fixeds?

i recently rode a Giant Bowery that I bought second-hand for a mate, and i didn't like it anywhere near as much as my fuji track. it felt kind of 'tinny'. so if anyone is tossing up between those two bikes, i would absolutely recommend the fuji.

"tinny" isn't nowhere enough to describe how the Bowery ride, can you describe it a bit better please?
