i had a really nice 50's omega i brought with the money i earned from my first photography job. it had arabic numbers (normal 123 not I II III) that were flat silver chrome on a white face. it was a lovely watch but it was stolen in a burglary :-( i haven't seen one like it since.
i also have a cheap stainless 70's tissot and a NOS boxed oris from the 70's but since the omega was stolen i haven't worn a watch. -

murtle I know them international watch works good for the old 'plongeur' hands not bang into the old PVD myself but that samuri PVD is sweet

the panerai that is on my website (it's also in the recent intersection mag) was a really nice piece but because i have dainty wrists i can't wear massive watches like that.
i nearly brought a really nice omega drivers watch that was rotated 90° anticlock so that it was the correct way up while holding your ferraris steering wheel. but seeing as i don't drive i didn't bother :-) -

Divers watches are pretty bloody masculine to start with
without getting all special forces
I have one of these
Canadian Trituim Search and sea Rescue - TSAR

you can just move the dial around to get the same effect....
'tis quite nice and subtle.
@budha, i am quite a fan of the marathons too. -

^Ha!
I've just dug out my Seiko 6309 and the dial moves round like that if you knock it... -
• #169
that means the dial feet have broken off. might be able to sort it out for you prav.

I like buddha's TSAR up there.. but I've not worn a normal watch for years.. only Polar HRMs.
Those military watches weigh as much as my mobile! Probably as big too... :) -

To maintain my Hipster credentials
Alas I would love a vintage Omega/Rolex but my bank balance could not cope!
