Yeah I reckon you guys are right. I'm only going on the top prices I see on ebay, I was pretty excited by what they were worth. I'm totally open to offers though. If you like them, offer what you think they're worth. Or trade. Or trade and cash. I don't mind. I'm very open minded on the whole subject.

I have one rear like the one pictured on this thread, and another pair (f & r) that I think are 'C Record' (they have the winged wheel emblem instead of the words 'Campagnolo Record). anyway, let me know if you want to see pics or more details. cheers
both the rear hubs in question are screw-on freewheels, vgc, and I think take 6/7 speed blocks.
cheers!

How many holes is the rear? 126mm OLN?
Cheers. -
• #13
hi provenrad
the C RECORD (assuming I've correctly id'd them!) are 36 holes, and 126 OLN rear. complete with the nice curvy Campag QR levers (see pic)
the Record rear is 32 hole, 126 OLN

Interested in C-Record hubs. Awaiting pics and price ;-)
-
• #15
How much do you want for the pair?
Interested. -
• #16
Are the C-Record Hubs similar to these?

there was an add on the board in Newport velodrome for some enterprising chap who converts road hubs to track ones and supplies a screw on converter to complete the job, although you don't necessarily need that on fixed or freewheel.
a "mate" does that too, he's a henginhere so does it well

hi chaps
the lovely Eduardo in Spain has come to the rescue and clarified that my pair of hubs is most likely late 80s Campag Chorus - the pics here (thanks for the link Eduardo!) show exactly what I have:
stil have one definitely certified Record rear hub - just wanted to clarify that the pair is NOT C Record, apologies for whetting appetites for what's obviously a desirable bit of kit

nice one.
I'm probably too cheap to pay what they are worth, so shall stand aside for Edd 13. -
• #20
no worries. if no one fancies them I may stick them on eBay, though I've no idea how much they might go for, else save them for wheelbuilding practice...
-
• #22
thanks. better than a poke in the eye with a short sharp stick.

Bikepusher:
Thanks for the offering but I think I will pass too.
If you are planning to do some wheelbuilding, it is a good idea to keep them just for that. Although in general good condition, I don't think they will fetch a good price on ebay as they have seen a fair share of use (as far as I can tell from the pics you send)
Edit: Provenrad has a point but that's NOS hub. I will say 30-40 maximum for a used set but you never know the vagaries of collectors items
-
• #24
I might be interested in the pair of Chorus hubs. Do you say they are NOS? Any thoughts on price?
Cheers

jonlubi, no thoughts yet, but they are already up on fleabay if you want a closer look: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=260343850779
Hey Guys,
I have this pair of Campagnolo road hubs. I'm hoping to sell or trade them as I need some track hubs and the rear hub is for a screw on free wheel (English thread).

They're 36 hole, and I don't know the history but I'm sure they've never been built because there is no wear.
I am offering them for £90 but am very open to trading for other hubs or wheels or stems or bars or bb's or cranks or seats or seatposts or...well you get the picture, anything shiny anyhow.
Cheers,
Si
